No Contract Term

Our broadband plans have no contract term.  You are not required to sign up for a fixed contract period of 12 or 24 months.  You simply pay in advance on a month by month basis.

You can upgrade, downgrade, add data to and cancel your broadband plan at any time to suit your business or home requirements, e.g., ramp up call capacity for a promotion, create new temporary numbers for a pop-up event, add extra capacity during the world cup to stream live TV feeds of the matches.  If you cancel there is no cancellation fee, the cancellation will take effect at the end of your monthly billing cycle date but any remaining account credits on that date will be lost.

Quality of Service

Our broadband is engineered to provide the best quality for the Cloud PBX plans we offer as part of Voice@Work and Voice@Home.  Quality of service guarantee ensures that you have the best experience on your  broadband connection.  Voice is always prioritised on the our network at all times and you are provided with a QoS (Quality of Service) management tool in the live web portal which will allow you to manage and control the bandwidth on your broadband connection.

Data Usage

If you are on an unlimited plan the total amount of data you can upload or download is unlimited.  We may use traffic prioritisation policies for these plans and our capped plans at any time to improve the overall performance amongst our customers.  Other factors may influence the particular speeds or latency you can achieve to servers nationally and internationally. Our control of these speeds is limited to our own network.  Connections to servers outside the 2talk network are on a “best effort” basis and it may not be possible

If you have a plan with a data cap when you reach the limit of your data we will send you an email to let you know. You can either:

  • set your account to automatically add a 20GB block of data for $10 excl. GST.  Data blocks expire at your account month end; or
  • in real time manually add data blocks via your account live web portal; or
  • upgrade to an unlimited plan via your account live web portal.

Otherwise your Internet traffic will be limited to 256kbps until the start of your next billing period.  Voice traffic will not be impacted by any slower speeds applied to data.

Broadband Reporting

Reporting and graphing tools in the live web portal give you visibility and control of your circuit and data usage, and allow you to monitor speeds and health ( latency, jitter and packet loss conditions) of your connection.
